Car passenger arrested for active warrant

Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A man was taken into custody after it was discovered that he had an active felony parole warrant.

On Saturday, Broome County Deputy Jan Cower stopped a vehicle on Glenwood Avenue for an inspection violation.

Under further investigation, the driver was found with a suspended driver's license, and the passenger had an active Felony Parole warrant.

The passenger, Benjamin D. Fassett, 27, of the town of Chenango was taken to the Broome County Jail to await parole proceedings.

The driver was issued traffic tickets.
