Great Bend, PA (WBNG Binghamton) Paramedics declared a driver dead at the scene of a rollover on Route 171 in Susquehanna County, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

A 1-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries.

At about 8 a.m. Wednesday, a northbound 2008 Kia Sorento driven by Cindy Westbrook, 46, of Susquehanna crested on a slight hill.

Troopers said the mid-sized SUV flew off the road to the left side and hit an embankment before rolling onto the driver's side.

The roof of the SUV struck a tree.

Officials declared Westbrook dead at the scene.

Paramedics took the child to Barnes-Kasson Hospital for treatment.

The child was in a safety seat and the Kia was traveling at a safe speed.

Troopers said the road was wet and icy.
