Driver hits construction worker

Delmar Township (WBNG Binghamton) Two are seriously injured after an accident in a construction site.

It happened on Route 6 on Tuesday around 9 a.m.

Pennsylvania State Police say Ray Low, 78, from Gaines hit Tammy Milroy, 47, a construction flagperson who was holding a posted stop sign.

Milroy was thrown several feet into the air.

Low's car continued off the road, into the air, flipped several times and hit a tree.

Both were seriously injured and taken by helicopter to Robert Packer Hospital.

Low is charged with careless driving.
