Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Two people are arrested after authorities find 35 grams of heroin along with hundreds of bags of the drug in their Binghamton house.
After a several weeks-long investigation, Michael Jones, 41; and Donna Ward, 42, were arrested at their residence Thursday on Asbury Court in the city of Binghamton.
Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force found 35 grams of heroin, nearly 250 bags of heroin, marijuana along with a packaging scale and cash.
Investigators say narcotics in the house were accessible to children who live there.
Jones is facing charges including 3 counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and endangering the welfare of a child.
Ward is facing a endangering the welfare of a child charge.
Jones is being held in city jail while Ward was released on an appearance ticket.
