(WBNG Binghamton) Eighteen people have been charged in an alleged drug and prostitution ring in New York City.
Attorney General Eric Schneiderman made the announcement Thursday morning following a nearly year-long undercover investigation.
Those charged allegedly sold what are known as "party packs," which include cocaine, and prostitutes.
According to Schneiderman's office, those in the criminal ring were gearing up to sell to high-end clients coming into town for the Super Bowl this weekend.
Schneiderman says those involved in the ring would send out text messages to prospective clients before they came into town.
The operation was based in Manhattan.
