Endicott, NY (WBNG Binghamton) With the warmer weather and sunny skies, Endicott is getting ready for The Avenue Summer Concert Series.

It's free and takes place throughout the summer.

"It is a challenge raising the money year after year," said Brian Luby, executive director of the concerts. "The earlier we start, the easier it is, but once sponsors see the benefits of them to be a part of this, it actually becomes an easy sell."

The first concert is next Wednesday starring a local group called The Egomanicas.

The concerts happen on Washington Avenue.

"This year, we're bringing a magician in for the entire family and that'll be a lot of fun. We'll have games and different booths set up here to give entertainment for the kids."

There are three concerts this summer:
June 25: The Egomaniacs
July 23: UUU
August 13: Frostbit Blue
