Endicott Road Shut Down for Crash Investigation

Endicott, NY (WBNG Binghamton) An Endicott road was closed for several hours Wednesday morning - but investigators are still trying to find out what happened in a bike and car crash.

Endicott Police and New York State Police say that a man on a bicycle crossed into traffic at the intersection of North Street and Oak Avenue and was hit by a Jeep at 7:30 a.m., Wednesday.

The bicyclist was taken to Wilson Hospital with injuries on Wednesday.

Investigators are reconstructing the scene to find out what happened and they say it could take several days.

Endicott police had no further information to release.
