Water Service Has Been Restored
To The Affected Area of the Endicott Water System


What happened?
At about 8 AM on 11/1/2012 a major main line break occurred on Route 26 near Ann G
McGuiness school. Approximately 100 services were affected, ACM was affected. The affected
area was Union Center T-Tighway north of AGM, Payne Rd. Lake Ave. Elsie Dr. Sandra Dr. and
Lower Leon Dr below Ellen Dr. These water services had reduced water pressure for approximately 2 hours.


What should I do?
If you live in the affected area you may have some air in your water line and or discoloration of your water. Run your cold water 10 minutes or until clear. If water remains discolored after 10 minutes turn water off and wait an hour then check again.


What is being done?
The water main has been, repaired and pressure has been restored, You do not need to boil your water,

WATER NOTICE
Interruption of Water Service
In The Affected Area of the Endicott Water System
 

What happened?  

At about 8 am on 11/1/2012 a major main line break occurred on Route 26 near Ann G
McGuiness School.  Approximately 100 services will be with out water, AGM will not have water.
The affected area is Union Center Highway north of AGM, Payne Rd. Lake Ave. Elsie Dr. Sandra
Dr. and Lower Leon Dr below Ellen Dr. These water services will have no water most of the day.

What should I do?

If you live in the affected area you will not have water pressure. Keep your faucets closed except to check for water pressure. When your water pressure return some discoloration is normal. Run your cold water 10 minutes or until clear. If water remains discolored after 10 minutes turn water off and wait an hour then check again.


What is being done?

 

We are repairing the break in the main line.
