Endicott, NY (WBNG Binghamton) An IBM employee from Endicott is the Southern Tier’s newest millionaire.

Richard Gusefski, 51, won a $1,000,000 Mega Millions prize in the February 14 drawing. Gusefski matched all five numbers.

He bought his winning ticket at the Weis Markets on Day Hollow Road while grocery shopping after work. The New York Lottery presented him a check at the same grocery store on Thursday.

Gusefski, a father of six, says the winning won’t change his lifestyle too much.

"I'm not quitting my job, this is going to pay for a lot of college is what it is going to pay for. So, yeah, I'll still be working,” said Gusefski.

He is the 33rd New Yorker to claim a New York Lottery prize of $1,000,000 or more so far this year.
