Town of Union, NY (WBNG Binghamton) An Endwell mom is arrested after a domestic dispute in the town of Maine.

Broome County Sheriff's deputies arrested Cherie G. Savage Saturday after responding to a domestic dispute on Farm to Market Road around 6:15 p.m.

After further investigation, deputies found Savage had gone to her mother's home and started fighting with her, including choking her.

Savage then attacked her ex-husband when he tried to intervene, according to a county news release.

During the attack, Savage struck him multiple times and ripped his shirt off, the sheriff's office said.

The attack happened in front of their three young children, all younger than 9.

Deputies said Savage fled the scene prior to their arrival. When they found her several hours later, deputies said she was uncooperative and fought with them.

Savage is charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child, class A misdemeanors, resisting arrest, a violation, and harassment in the second degree, a violation.

Savage was arrested, processed and arraigned in the Town of Maine Court late Saturday night.

She was sent to the Broome County Jail.

Further action is pending in the Town of Maine Court.
