Evidence of meth lab in Cortland County home

Town of Virgil, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A woman was arrested after an investigation into her home turned up evidence of a meth lab.

Ashley Huss, 28, of Town of Virgil was questioned by investigators after the Cortland County Sheriff's Department received a tip of a possible meth lab located at 2526 Route 11.

Deputies said they found several pieces of evidence related to a meth lab in her home.

An environmental clean up agency was called to clean up hazardous material.

Huss was charged with two felonies, but authorities said more could be coming as the investigation continues.

Charges:
-Manufacturing methamphetamine
-Unlawful disposal of methamphetamine laboratory material

Huss was arraigned in the Town of Vigil Court and taken to the Cortland County Jail on $10,000 bail.

She is due back in court on July 1.
