Harpursville, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Nearly 600 people were welcomed into Animal Adventure Sunday afternoon to get a first look at exotic animals.

Among the rare animals, zoo-goers got a peek at some new additions as well.

"We got a new baby cougar kitten named Lulu and she is a doll," said Sam Rickenback, zookeeper at Animal Adventure.

Everyday around one o' clock, keepers feed Lulu in front of visitors, drawing a crowd to the new zoo resident.

Many who visited the park on Memorial Day Weekend said it was perfect timing to explore and learn about the new animals.

The zoo is open Friday through Sunday, from 10 A.M until 4 P.M. through June 9th. Summer hours begin on the 10th and run Wednesday through Sunday, from 10 A.M until 4 P.M.
