Owego, NY (WBNG Binghamton) It's a 40-year tradition in the Owego community, and one organizers are happy to be able to bring back this year.

The St. Patrick's School Fall Festival didn't take place last year because of the flood.

The community was just starting to clean up and the school had lost many of the items they use to put the event on year after year.

"It's wonderful to be back here a year later. You think a year ago everyone was still cleaning out and pretty down and out. We, ourselves, the whole school had to be relocated for a few month to Endicott. So the day we were able to come back in November was a really happy occasion," said Publicity Chairperson Sue Samuelson.

Fall fest is the school's biggest fundraiser and will be going on Saturday as well with live entertainment, a haunted house, a bounce house, and more.
