(WBNG Binghamton) Otsego County Sheriff's Deputies found a family suspected of armed robbery living in Florida.

Christine Lord, 43, Timothy Lord, 45, and Kaine Lord, 21, were arrested in Deltona, Florida and charged with robbery in the first degree. They had previously lived in Hartwick, New York.

The robbery took place in December 2013 at the Pit Stop Convenience Store, located on State Highway 28 in Hartwick.

Leads were developed that allowed investigators to trace the family to Volusia County, Florida.

On May 7, members of the Otsego County Sheriff’s Office traveled to Florida to meet with investigators at the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office.

On May 8, at approximately 6:00 a.m., deputies executed a search warrant at a residence in Deltona, where all three suspects were located.

After conducting interviews, felony arrest warrants were obtained in New York and lodged with the State of Florida.

Currently, all three suspects are being held at the Volusia County Jail, pending extradition back to Otsego County.

Sheriff Devlin, of the Otsego County Sheriff's Office, commended Volusia County deputies for their support in the investigation.

”I am very proud of the work that our office has put into this case solving this armed robbery," said Devlin. "This investigation was a collaborative effort of multiple law enforcement agencies. The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office was outstanding in assisting our office in this investigation.”

The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are expected to be filed.
