(WBNG Binghamton) A family will say goodbye to a Chenango County woman who had been missing since December, but was found dead just last week.

Jennifer Ramsaran's remains were found just off of Center Road in the Town of Pharsalia last Tuesday, and were identified through dental records later that week.

The family is holding a private funeral Tuesday.

In a statement released Monday, the family said:

"We thank everyone who searched for her, and the law enforcement, the media, all those who reached out to try and find Jennifer. At this time, we would like to move on with the process of healing and mourning the loss of Jennifer. We will always remember her and she will be with us in spirit."

Flowers and cards can be sent to the RJ Fahy Funeral Home.

She will be buried at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Norwich.
