Afton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Chenango County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal motorcycle accident in Afton.
The call came in at 12:07 Monday afternoon of a 2011 Harley Davidson motorcycle that had crashed into the Kelsey Manor Home for Adults at the corner of Route 7 and Route 41.
The driver of the vehicle, 50 year old David Halabura from Orwigsburg, PA crossed the roadway and struck the adult home.
The bike passenger, 49 year old Suzette Halabura of Pennsylvania, was ejected from the bike and pronounced dead at the scene.
Mr. Halabura was transported to Wilson Hospital for facial injuries.
Both riders were wearing helmets at the time of the accident.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
