Hancock man killed in hit and run

Buckingham Township, Pa. (WBNG Binghamton) Pennsylvania State Police have identified both a person of interest and a vehicle involved in a fatal hit and run.

As of Sunday night, no one was in custody.

Troopers report a car struck and killed 19-year-old Zachary Possemato of Hancock, New York.

The crash happened Friday night around 8:30 p.m.

He was walking along State Route 191, near the Hancock Bridge, in Wayne County when the truck hit him. The vehicle fled the scene.

According to WBRE, Possemato was a volunteer firefighter.
