Final farewell to BU grads

Vestal, NY (WBNG Bingahmton) Sunday marked the last graduation for Binghamton University's Spring 2014 class.

Sunday's ceremony was for the graduates of the Harper College of Arts and Science.

BU and the Southern Tier will be saying permanent goodbyes to many of them, as they already have jobs and plans beyond the Southern Tier.

"Tomorrow morning, I am packing up and moving to Memphis, Tennessee because I really want to work in public health," said Mellie Riddle, who received two masters degree in Anthropology and Bio-Anthropology.

"I'm actually going to Buffalo," said Sasha Powell, graduate in Anthropology. "I'm doing teach for America."

"I'm thinking I'll be a nurse for a few years in med surge at Putnam Hospital," said Christine Centrilla, who received a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing.
