Fire damages Pa. home

Bridgewater, PA (WBNG Binghamton) Nine fire departments work to put out a house fire in Bridgewater Township Saturday night.

According to the United Fire Company, the fire tore through part of a home at 989 Lewis Rd. in Bridgewater, which is just outside of Montrose.

The fire broke out around 9:00 p.m.

United Fire said it took the departments more than an hour to contain the fire.

They report no injuries.

Due to the damage the home sustained, the fire company said the family will not be staying at the home Saturday night.

Union Fire said the blaze started in the basement.
