Fire rips through roof of Binghamton home

Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A house was severely damaged after a fire ripped through it Sunday afternoon.

Just before 1 p.m., several firefighters from nearly a half a dozen departments were dispatched to 623 Park Ave. in the town of Binghamton.

Responding fire departments included the Towns of Binghamton, Vestal, Conklin.

The fire left significant damage to the roof.
