Town of Union, NY (WBNG Binghamton) As friends and families celebrated the Fourth of July, most were looking forward to wrapping up the night with fireworks.

At Highland Park, people camped out all afternoon to guarantee a spot with a good view.

"We really enjoy these fireworks, because they go for a solid half hour, and there's no waiting time," Donna Creamer said. "It's one right after the other, and they are a lot of fun."

By the time the fireworks show rolled around, hundreds of people crowded into the park to catch them exploding in the night sky.
