Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) First Friday took on a different twist this month, ringing October in with a zombie infiltration in downtown Binghamton.

Over one hundred people dressed up in ripped clothing, doused themselves in makeup and fake blood, and took to the streets.

These zombies, ranging from 5 year-olds to elderly men, gathered at Court Street early in the evening to begin the 3rd Annual Zombie Art Walk.

The walk covered a large area of downtown; the undead followed a map that led them up Court, State, and Henry Streets.

Participants were asked to stay in character for the entirety of the walk, and "clean up after feeding on human brains." Many even stumbled up to cars and restaurant windows, giving a scare to unsuspecting patrons.

The zombie parade concluded outside the Lost Dog Cafe, where a DJ and dance choreographer were waiting. Zombies performed a ghoulish flash mob for onlookers, to none other than Michael Jackson's "Thriller."
