Former Boys & Girls Club director pleads guilty to larceny

Owego, NY (WBNG Binghamton) An Endicott woman, charged with stealing thousands of dollars from a local non-profit, pleads guilty in Tioga County Court.

An investigation found that Valerie M. Demkovich, 43, had used a credit card belonging to the Tioga County Boys and Girls Club to rack up nearly $11,000 in personal purchases over two years.

Demokovich, a former executive director for the organization, pleaded guilty to felony fourth degree grand larceny.

She will return to court July 2 for sentencing.
