Former Fire Treasurer Sentenced

Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A former treasurer for the Sanitaria Springs Fire Company is ordered to pay back money stolen from the departments funds.

Nicole Rogers of Port Crane was sentenced in Broome County Court.

She will serve five years probation and pay restitution.

Rogers had admitted to taking more than $71,000 to help make her house payments.
