Four arrested in Otsego Co. home invasion

Town of Butternuts, NY (WBNG Binghamton) New York State Police took into custody four people involved in an Otsego County burglary.

At 2:48 p.m. Wednesday, state police responded to 1562 County Route 18 in the Town of Butternuts.

According to police, four people broke into a home, stole property and ran off into a wooded area.

One of the suspects reportedly had a handgun. However, State Police said no gun had been recovered.

The Otsego County Sheriff's Office, Chenango County Sheriff's Office, Town of New Berlin Police and City of Norwich Police all assisted state police in a nine-hour manhunt.

The four invidivuals were located Wednesday night and taken into custody.

-Michael Mack, 25, Utica
-Ricky Woods, 17, Utica
-Shirley Lamphere, 24, Utica
-Jyra Nash, 17, Utica

All were charged with with felony burglary in the second degree.

They are scheduled to be arraigned on Thursday.
