Nichols, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Four people are arrested after hundreds of thousands of dollars in electronics are stolen from the Best Buy warehouse parking lot in Nichols.

New York State Police responded to Best Buy just before midnight Sunday to a report of a suspicious van in the parking lot.

Troopers said the van then sped off but didn't make it far before those inside got out and fled into a nearby wooded area.

Several laptops and camcorders were found inside the van and many more were found behind a Best Buy warehouse.

The merchandise -- stolen from trailers parked in the Best Buy parking lot -- totaled more than $118,000.

A tip led state police to two suspects, who were taken into custody just before 7 a.m. Monday morning at the Lounsberry Truck Stop. The two other suspects were located at the Binghamton Bus Station later that day.

They are Lance L. Degraffenreid, 24, of Burnham, Ill.; Devonte J. Henry, 19, of Chicago, Ill.; Roland J. Jackson, 35, of Beloit, Wis.; and Ricky A. Pearson, 24, of Chicago, Ill.

All four men were charged with grand larceny in the second degree, a class C felony.

They were taken to the Tioga County Jail on $50,000 bail.

The Tioga County Sheriff's Department and Owego Police Department assisted with the investigation.

The investigation is ongoing.
