Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A memorial fund is set-up and funeral arrangements are now finalized for Scott Wright Jr.

The Binghamton teen was shot July 4, near the Town and Country Apartments, and died from his injuries early Monday.

The Liberty Partnership City Project team from Binghamton High School is holding a car wash at Auto Zone on Thursday, located at 241 Main St. in Binghamton, to raise money for funeral arrangements.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The funeral for Wright is scheduled for Friday at the First Assembly of God on Washington Street in Binghamton.

Visitation hours will be from 10 a.m. to noon, with the service starting at noon.

The "Scott Wright Jr. Memorial Fund" is also set up at Visions Federal Credit Unions. The family said if people wish to contribute, to just go to any Visions and say the fund name.
