Woman accused of $9K in stolen credit card charges

Town of Dickinson, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A woman who worked at a home with disabled individuals is accused of charging thousands to a stolen credit card.

The Broome County Sheriff’s Office Detective Division arrested Tiffany Farinha, 26, of Binghamton, on June 12 on two felony charges.

According to deputies, Farinha is accused of charging more than $9,000 to a stolen credit card.

Farinha worked at an independent boarding home for disabled individuals that was run in her mother’s home on Pulaski St. in the town of Dickinson.

Deputies urge anyone with family members that lived at the home and have information to contact Detective Deborah Phelps at (607)778-2334.

Farinha was taken to the Broome County Jail without bail.

Charges:

Grand larceny, third degree
Criminal possession of stolen property, fourth degree
