(WBNG Binghamton) A new restaurant opens its doors in the town of Union.

Following a few months of operation, Greek Key held its grand opening Friday at 113 Nanticoke Ave.

Representatives of the town of Union joined owners of the shop.

The owners say they're well aware of the long history of previous restaurants, and they plan on sticking around.

"We have learned our history from being here, but we and we tell our customers, plan on being the last place here. Even if we have to pass it on to our children, we plan on keeping this. This is the last stop for this building," said Nick Lazaros, a co-owner.

As a part of the opening celebration, there was food, face painting, music and even a magician.
