(WBNG Binghamton) The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission asked for input on impacts of the proposed Constitution Pipeline.

The Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) addresses environmental effects of constructing the pipeline, a project that would transport natural gas through the Southern Tier.

Those wishing to comment on the study can attend public meetings throughout the week.

The meetings take place Tuesday at Oneonta High School, Wednesday at Afton High School and Thursday at Blue Ridge High School in New Milford, Pennsylvania.

All meetings begin at 7 p.m.
