Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Police are investigating what they say was a home invasion and they are looking for someone.

An incident at a home located at 3 Downs Ave. brought heavy police presence to the the city's first ward around 2 a.m. Tuesday.

A woman living at 3 Downs Ave. she said a man broke into the front door and forced her on the roof. She claimed two shots were fired. For fear of her safety, she chose not to give her name or talk on camera.

It is not believed anyone was injured.

Downs Ave. was blocked off at both ends to all traffic, and reopened around 6 a.m.
