Heavy police activity in Endicott

Endicott, NY (WBNG Binghamton) There was heavy police presence on the corner of Adams Avenue and East Main Street for a reported fight.

Officers were dispatched shortly after 11:35 p.m. Sunday.

Police told Action News one person was injured and transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

According to an Action News crew on scene, a car also crashed in a nearby yard. The windows of the car were shattered.

The Endicott Police Department was the leading agency on scene. Vestal Police and New York State Police assisted.

Police were on scene for hours collecting evidence after the incident.

Endicott officers said an investigation is ongoing.
