Two arrested; 23 packets of heroin

Town of Union, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Two people were arrested for heroin and marijuana possession after being stopped for a traffic violation in the Town of Union.

Broome County Sheriff's arrested Lloyd E. Rice, 35, and Tiffany L. Vanhousen, 18, both from Endicott.

Deputies stopped Rice's car on the George F. Highway.

They found 23 packets of heroin and a small amount of marijuana.

Sheriffs also found that Rice had a suspended New York State driver's license.

He had an outstanding felony warrant out of New York City for dangerous drugs.

Both were arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, with intent to sell, a felony. They were sent to Broome County Jail without bail.
