Heroin, crack, cash seized from local apartment

Endicott, N.Y. (WBNG Binghamton) A police search of an Endicott apartment sent two people to jail and authorities to seize hundreds of bags of heroin, a bag of crack cocaine and drug money.

The Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force on Thursday served the warrant at 12 Hillside Ct., Apt. 3. Inside they found 667 small bags of heroin, a 22-gram block of heroin, a bag of crack cocaine and $5,400.

Task force members arrested Arthur Anderson, 34, of Johnson City, and Christina Jones, 30, of Binghamton.

Anderson was charged with three counts of felony criminal possession of a controlled substance, four counts of misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance and using drug paraphernalia.

Jones was charged with one count of felony criminal possession of a controlled substance, four counts of misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance and using drug paraphernalia.

Anderson and Jones were arraigned in Town of Dickinson Court and taken to the Broome County Jail without bail.
