Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Police are looking into an gas station robbery Monday night.

Around 11:45 p.m., a man in baseball cap went into the Hess Gas Station on Vestal Avenue.

He allegedly threatened the clerk with a knife and demanded the cash from the register.

When he got the money, police say the suspect then took off and ran toward the river.

He was arrested a short time later.

No one was injured.

The name of the suspect has not been released.
