The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train is coming into town to collect cargo and bring entertainment.

Each year the railway sends its Holiday Train on a tour through northern New York and Canada.

At each stop the train opens its doors to a stage of entertainment and thousands of colorful lights.

This year there will be a live performance by Canadian singer Melanie Doane.

The train plans to stop in Binghamton on November 27 at 9:15p.m.

It will stop in Oneonta on Sunday November 28 at 3:15 p.m.

It will then visit Cobleskill, Delanson and Schenectady.

Visitors are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items or cash that will be donated to local food banks in communities where the train stops.
