Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The New York State Police in Binghamton are investigating a home invasion burglary which occurred during the early morning hours of September 1, 2010.
The burglary occurred at 124 Walters Road in the Town of Barker, where items were taken and a lone resident was assaulted. The resident is being treated at an area hospital for severe injuries sustained during the assault.
The burglary was reported after the resident was discovered by a family member. Anyone traveling in the area of Walters Road between the late evening on Tuesday, August 31, and the morning of Wednesday, September 1st, or anyone with information is asked to contact the New York State Police in Binghamton at (607) 775-1241. All calls will remain confidential. The investigation is continuing.
