Towanda, PA (WBNG Binghamton) A Bradford County man plead guilty to involuntary manslaughter for the death of his wife at their home in Monroe Township.

Scott Kunkle, 30, will be sentenced on July 24 in Bradford County Court, according to the District Attorney's office.

On June 9, he plead guilty to involuntary manslaughter in the first degree, a misdemeanor.

Pennsylvania State Police were called to a domestic dispute at the Kunkle family home in July 2013.

Patricia Kunkle was found unresponsive and was pronounced dead at Memorial Hospital.

An autopsy showed she died from blunt force trauma to the head and other internal injuries.

Daniel Barrett, the Bradford County District Attorney, said both Scott and Patricia Kunkle had been under the influence of bath salts.

Scott Kunkle was arrested and charged in August 2013. He posted $50,000 bail and was released.

The maximum sentence for involuntary manslaughter in the first degree is five years in prison, according to Barrett.
