Local IHOP turns up the griddle for a cause

Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) IHOP on the Vestal Parkway flipped pancakes on Tuesday to support childrens' hospitals.

IHOP celebrated National Free Pancake Day to raise money for the Children's Miracle Network, including the Janet Weis Children's Hospital.

From 7 am to 10 pm, customers are able to get a short stack of pancakes free of charge.

In return, people are asked to donate to the Children's Miracle Network.

IHOP set their goal at raising $3 million for CMN hospitals nationwide.

This is the 9th year of IHOP's National Free Pancake Day. A total of 22 million pancakes have been given out so far.
