Accused killer indicted for LaCaprara death

Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A Johnson City man is indicted in connection with the murder of his neighbor in Broome County Court.

Christopher T. Davis, 43, faces charges of murder in the first degree, two counts of murder in the second degree and robbery in the first degree.

Police were called July 8 to 36 Brown St. in Johnson City.

There, they found 50-year-old Patricia LaCaprara dead in her home.

The Broome County Coroner says LaCaprara died as a result of traumatic head injuries.

Johnson City and Binghamton police performed the investigation.

The case will be prosecuted by District Attorney Gerald F. Mollen and Chief Assistant District Attorney Joann Rose Parry.
