Ithaca police investigate Saturday night stabbing

(WBNG Binghamton) The Ithaca Police Department is investigating a stabbing and following up on multiple leads.

Ithaca police and Bangs ambulance were called at approximately 9:45 p.m. Saturday to the 400 block of West State Street in Ithaca.

They found a man, 35, who was bleeding heavily from a stab wound to the neck area.

A police sergeant used a Quick Clot Combat Gauze to control the bleeding before Bangs crews arrived on scene.

The victim was taken to Upstate University Hospital and has been released.

Police said he is being uncooperative with authorities.
