Cortland, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Summer training for the New York Jets means fans get the opportunity for a sneak peek.

On Thursday, July 26, the Jets will head to SUNY Cortland for the official start of their 2012 training camp.

Their practice on Saturday, July 28, will be open to the public.

Thousands of fans are expected to turn out and those that do will be able to enjoy "Jets Fest," a football theme park.

The last time the Jets trained at SUNY Cortland was in 2010 when more than 41,000 people visited the campus.

Not only did this boost the economy by about $5.8 million, but more than 50 SUNY Cortland students landed training camp internships.

The team will announce more details about the camp over the next couple of weeks.
