Nichols, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Tioga downs was filled with visitors Monday, although most were there looking to line their pockets with a new job, rather than hitting a big jackpot.
Hundreds of applicants flooded the lobby of the racino, hoping to fill one of the 60 full- and part-time positions available in the casino and on the racetrack.
There were on-the-spot interviews, testing and some even left with a job.
"I'm hoping with the boost of business that they get during the racing season, that there will be enough positions open that I can get something," said Christopher Davis, of Athens, Pa.
The second job fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, April 6.
