Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A Broome County jury acquitted Anthony Raggi, 28, of the charge of criminal sexual act.

Raggi was a teacher in the Susquehanna Valley School District accused of having sexual contact with a minor in 2012.

Following an investigation, New York State Police arrested him on January 16, 2013. The school district put him on administrative leave.

Raggi's trial took place in Broome County Court last week before Judge Martin Smith. On Thursday, a jury found Raggi not guilty of the charge.
