Town of Union, NY (WBNG Binghamton) One local church in Endwell brought life to a longtime nativity scene on Christmas Eve.

Northminster Presbyterian Church has been putting on a live nativity scene for 29 years.

Each year they emphasize the origin of Christmas by bringing the story of Christ's birth to story to life.

Members from the church dressed up as Mary, Joseph, three wise men and shepherds to pull the scene together.

Their main goal is to help the children who have heard the stories of The Bible, and witness some of its teachings.

"Having this nativity scene kind of reminds these little kids of the ones we've seen today, kind of what the whole meaning of Christmas. It kind of brings it back to the basics of what it really means," said Kristofor Prikazsky, a member of the church.

The Northminster Presbyterian Church has run the live nativity scene every year on Christmas Eve.
