Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Local artists and vendors featured their crafts at this weekend's Riverfest at Roberson. It was hosted by the Roberson Museum & Science Center in downtown Binghamton.

The event showcases local talent, live music, food and prizes. It was free to get in and the museum's marketing manager said Sunday's event offered something for everyone.

"The Radio Disney component today is very new, they came in from New York City, and they do a lot of kids games and prizes,” said Roberson Museum marketing manager Jason Fiume. “And they also partner with New York 529 College Savings Program, so they're teaching kids basically how to save money, and get kids to know how to save for their future."

There was a live performance by American Idol contestant Kaitlyn Jackson, as well as an antique car display.

The rain-or-shine event powered on through Saturday’s stormy weather. On Sunday, organizers said they were thankful for the nonstop sunshine and the great crowd.
