Town of Union, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The celebration continued for one local football team. Students, faculty and staff in the Maine-Endwell school district honored the state-champion Maine-Endwell football team Tuesday.

At Homer Brink Elementary School, the champs paraded through the halls, getting high fives and cheers from the younger students.

Quarterback Kyle Gallagher reflected on his career as a spartan and his three state titles.

"To be able to win three with a different team each year, it definitely means a lot. I can't give enough credit to all my teammates and all the coaches. Without them there's no way any of this would have been possible, including the community, the teachers and the kids as well and all of our fans," said Gallagher.

The Spartans also made a stop at Maine-Endwell Middle School and Maine Memorial Elementary.
