Man Accused of Stealing from SUNY Houses

Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A Binghamton man is accused of numerous accounts of burglary.

Police arrested Edward Cleveland, 32, of Mather Street.

He is suspected of entering houses of SUNY students in the St. John Avenue area and stealing electronics and female undergarments.

Police say the incidents began in March and continued through September.

Investigators searched his house on a warrant Wednesday morning and found the stolen property as well a burglar tools.

Cleveland is charged with three counts of burglary and one count of attempted burglary.

The investigation is continuing.
