Town of Maine, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A Town of Maine man is arrested during a burglary last week.
William Aleba, 32, of the Town of Maine was arrested on Thursday after New York State Police received a report of a burglary in progress at a home on Church Street in Maine.
Trooper said when they arrived at the scene, they found Aleba inside in the process of stealing household belongings. Police took Aleba into custody after a brief struggle.
He was arraigned in the Town of Union court and is being held at Broome County jail without bail.
