Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A Vestal man is arrested after Broome County deputies find more than $60,000 in stolen construction equipment from across state lines.
Investigators said Mark Phillips, 26, was in possession of two of the machines from a business in Plainfield, N.H., on Oct. 2.
Upon arriving on a Town of Triangle property Thursday, they found a third excavator, which they discovered was stolen on Sept. 27 from a property in Salem, Va.
Phillips was arraigned in the Town of Chenango Court for criminal possession of stolen property in the second degree, a class C felony.
He was taken to the Broome County Correctional Facility without bail.
